設計的準則在于如何與環境相融合，如何與社區相促進，如何與文化相充實。最終，人類對于設計的本位回應講成就設計師與客戶之間完整的合作意圖。1968年，基于設計的靈感與對話，以及與其客戶的近距離溝通，tvsdesign成立了。
tvsdesign是一家完全由雇員所有的企業，由12間設計工作室組成，在主任建筑師的指導下進行工作，直接履行對客戶的職責，且不產生交叉工作。內部成員之間對設計進行評審，并對設計進程的各個階段進行技術研究與成果研究，以保證項目質量的實現。正是由于公司對設計質量的一貫保證，亦因為公司的企業文化及出色的設計水平，tvsdesign廣受業界領導者的好評，并于2002年獲得AIA國家優秀事務所獎項。
根據設計事務所的結構安排，對于每個項目，tvsdesign都致力于利用必要的資源去平衡設計、技術與商務之間的關系。主任建筑師負責整體的安排，并領導整個項目團隊，根據經驗考慮項目的各個方面，實現各位客戶的遠景，從容應對不同的挑戰。
四十多年來，tvsdesign設計了許多重要的空間與建筑。每年，約有2.4億人直接體驗著tvsdesign的環境空間。其中，公司的工作環境中有35萬人，另外還有60多萬人會在設計的商業綜合體中體驗，每天有10萬人使用或入住tvsdesign設計的酒店，每年還有4000萬人享用著tvsdesign創造的公共集散空間。公司一直關注于客戶的滿意程度，實現優秀的建筑設計，滿足客戶的商業期望，融合社區的文化需求，并力爭成為推動經濟增長與發展的中堅力量。

如今，tvsdesign的業務已拓展到國內外多個地區，1999年設立了芝加哥辦公室，2005年于阿聯酋設立了迪拜辦公室，2007年于上海設立辦公室，以充分的實現了全球化。這種全球性的視野必將更好的融合本土與國際區域的經濟與文化生活，項目創意的專業性也將更上一層樓。

Ultimately a positive human response completes the collaborative intentions of the designer and client. tvsdesign was founded in 1968 on the basis of inspired design and close dialogue with its clients.
tvsdesign is 100% employee owned and is organized into twelve studios, each under the guidance of a principal of record, bringing a direct and single source responsibility to our clients. Project quality assurance is the result of internal peer reviews of design, technical and project delivery issues at the completion of each benchmark phase of a project schedule. It is this stewardship over quality assurance, our culture of ownership, and consistent design excellence that prompted industry leaders to recognize tvsdesign as with the 2002 AIA National Firm Award.
Through our design studio structure, tvsdesign works on every project with the resources necessary to balance design, technology, and business. Principals assign and lead teams with the experience appropriate to all aspects of the project,providing continuity throughout the process. Through collaboration tvsdesign provides proven, inspired design insight to meet the unique challenges of each client’s vision.
tvsdesign has designed important spaces and buildings for over four decades. Over 240,000,000 people directly experience tvsdesign environments each year. Of these, 350,000 are employed in the firm’s work environments, 600,000 shop at its retail complexes and over 100,000 stay or meet in one of our hotels, every day, while 40,000,000 meet and convene each year at its public assembly facilities. The firm has concentrated its efforts on client satisfaction through architecture that not only sets the standard for excellence in design, but also serves the business expectations of our clients, the cultural desires of the community, and as an engine for economic growth and development.
tvsdesign has had a significant influence on cities and the built environment through the design of major urban public spaces. Among the great cities of the world, there are often a few central focal points and favorite gathering places that give to that city a certain distinction and identity. tvsdesign has been fortunate to design landmark and important urban projects and places in large and small cities throughout the world. By creating good public space that energizes neighborhoods, tvsdesign projects generate additional wealth above and beyond their stated purpose. These are places where people feel that they are part of the dynamism of their city, generating cultural growth and development.
A love of creating positive resident and visitor experiences influences our entire process and leads us to solutions that are compelling, surprising, memorable and comfortable. tvsdesign has expanded its business to regions both nationally and internationally, opening the Chicago office in 1999, the Dubai, UAE office in 2005 and an office in Shanghai in 2007, establishing a global reach. This international perspective has brought another level of expertise in design, creating projects that have become integral parts of the economic and cultural life of local and international places.

Creative, Contextual, and Functional There is no single design style of tvsdesign. The firm draws inspiration for its designs from the contextual demands of the human criteria required by the building. The harmonies of past and present are linked by spacial arrangements, scale and visual congruity.
